💋 QUEERPORT 2020 WILL BE HELD ONLINE OCT 26-31 💋
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we've had to move our QUEERPORT 2020 event from minicine? to online only. We've come up with a week of events, and we need your help!
Starting today, and continuing until October 10, Queerport is accepting submissions for our online festival to take place the week of October 26-31, culminating on Halloween!
That's right — we are having a macabre celebration of queerness and you're all invited. 🥰😈👀
We have curated a marketplace, along with workshops, galleries, drag performances, storytimes, and a few other ideas we can't reveal just yet.
We are still, however, looking for more artists, bakers, and candlestick makers to participate. ✨ If you create anything for sale, anything at all, please consider submitting your work to be sold at our online marketplace. If you're an artist, performer, or make anything at all that can be represented digitally, please submit to have your work featured in one of our galleries. We may even let you go LIVE from our page!
😎 If you'd like to teach something as it relates to the queer community, please submit a workshop idea. We are open to pretty much anything!
All submissions must be made here: https://bit.ly/3192PEw
Last year's event was fantastic because of community input and participation. We have to do things a little differently this year, but with everyone's help, we know we can provide plenty of great content for you without having to leave your homes.
We want to thank everyone for your continued support.
We are still seeking donations for this event, as well as our future LGBTQIA+ arts and resource center. You can donate here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/queerport-2020
IF YOU ARE AN ALLY, DONATE. 🏳️⚧❤️🏳️🌈
