Club Kid Tribute Shoot

"I wanted to create my own world, a world full of color, where everyone could play. One big party that never ends."

To his credit, Michael Alig was a genius. Deranged and on drugs, yes, but a genius nonetheless. His commitment to the nightlife scene in New York City birthed a revolution of club kids and party goers. Recently, JD Jones brought together a group of LGBTQIA+ individuals to celebrate this moment in history by fusing two words together — the one of club kids and the one of entertainers. JD featured drag queens dressed as 1980s icons Dolly Parton, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and Divine.
